NUTRIDOME's anti-dandruff soothing and moisturising shampoo is a real gamechanger for those struggling with dandruff and scalp fungus. Its effectiveness was confirmed by our testers, who noticed a reduction in dandruff after just the first use! Piroctone olamine, an effective active ingredient, makes it not only an anti-dandruff shampoo, but also an anti-fungal shampoo, as it is also responsible for effectively combating scalp fungus. The shampoo copes well with both oily and dry dandruff, making it a versatile solution for different types of skin problems. The addition of zinc and panthenol not only eliminates dandruff, but also nourishes the scalp, preventing the recurrence of the problem. It is also worth highlighting the pleasant fragrance and the product's remarkable efficiency - a small amount is sufficient for effective action, which makes the shampoo very economical. Once the symptoms of dandruff have subsided, prophylactic use of the shampoo 1-2 times a week allows the effects to be maintained for a longer period of time. Thanks to its effectiveness, good composition and high efficiency, NUTRIDOME anti-dandruff shampoo deserves to be an absolute hit in our ranking.

Nizoral is a well-known shampoo for dandruff for many years, but thanks to its composition it also works well as an antifungal shampoo. Its powerful action is based on the presence of ketoconazole, a synthetic antifungal agent that effectively combats ringworm and dandruff. Despite its intensely chemical composition, this therapeutic anti-fungal and anti-dandruff shampoo is extremely effective. It is also worth noting that the potency comes at a price and it can cause irritation to the scalp and even lighten hair colour, as described in the product leaflet. Because of the side effects, Nizoral works better as an emergency product, while for daily hair care it is worth choosing a milder shampoo. As an anti-fungal shampoo used briefly, it works very well.

Pirolam has an anti-dandruff action, but is also commonly used as an anti-fungal shampoo. It offers an effective solution to the problem of dandruff thanks to its cyclopiroxolamine content, a substance that both reduces dandruff and prevents its return. In addition, the presence of vitamins A and E and glycerine promotes adequate moisturisation of the scalp. Nevertheless, cases of skin irritation have been noted during testing, which may be related to the presence of methylchloroisothiazolinone, a potentially sensitising substance. It is worth noting that the shampoo should be rinsed off thoroughly to avoid adverse skin reactions. Despite its effectiveness against dandruff, due to potential irritation, Pirolam did not achieve a higher position in our ranking of antifungal shampoos. It deals with dandruff brilliantly, but as an anti-fungal shampoo it is inferior to its competitors.

Pharmaceris H-Sensitonin is a specialised soothing shampoo for sensitive scalps uncooperative with SLS and SLES. This shampoo is aimed at people whose scalp is prone to irritation, dryness, itching and burning, as well as those whose hair is fine and thin. Thanks to its ultra-gentle micellar formula, the product effectively cleanses both hair and scalp while providing adequate hydration. Flax extract, betaine and allantoin reduce scalp hyper-reactivity, while olamine pyrroctonate soothes the scalp, eliminating burning, itching and chronic flaking. Despite these benefits, it should be noted that Pharmaceris H-Sensitonin performs quite poorly as an anti-fungal shampoo, and has an unpleasant smell that can be somewhat irritating. Additionally, some users have noticed that the hair becomes a little rough after using the product. Despite these drawbacks, Pharmaceris H-Sensitonin remains a good option for those with sensitive scalps, providing gentle cleansing and moisturisation.

Radical Med specialised hair care shampoo is a product designed for people with scalp problems such as psoriatic lesions and AD. Thanks to the content of a moisturising and soothing complex with panthenol, aloe vera, allantoin, betaine, peptides and post-biotic, it effectively cleanses the scalp of excess keratinised epidermis, while eliminating the feeling of skin tightness and astringency. The shampoo moisturises the skin, reduces itching sensations and is beneficial for hair growth and strengthening. Unfortunately, SLS and PEG are included in the product's formulation, which may be disadvantageous for some people. In addition, the product has a weak antifungal effect, which may be a disadvantage for those seeking a solution to this problem. Despite these drawbacks, Radical Med can still be a good option for those with skin difficulties, providing effective hair and scalp care.
